One small Christmas job.
One very lost postmouse.

Milo always checks the window star before bed. On Christmas Eve, someone smaller than him needs its light. Here’s how that familiar habit becomes the heart of his adventure.

Milo and the Last Christmas Light is an original illustrated story created for this page, with fictional characters. The artwork was created separately as inspiration for your own book. Milo’s story isn’t a selectable template.

01 / A little Christmas job

Every Christmas Eve, Milo checked the window star. Tonight, a tiny postmouse tapped at the glass. “I can’t find the last house!”

02 / An idea only Milo would have

Milo spotted a dark gate beneath the snowy fir. “Down here!” he called. Grandma helped him hang their star where the mouse could see.

03 / One last parcel, delivered

The postmouse followed Milo’s light to the little door. One last parcel. One happy squeak. Milo’s small Christmas job had made a very big difference.

Start with the detail
you’d recognize anywhere.

Their name belongs on the cover. Their personality can give the story somewhere to go. Add your child’s photo, bring a familiar person into the cast, and describe the adventure you have in mind.

A few Christmas book questions

Will my book use Milo’s story?

No. This is an original example to help you picture a story built around a child’s own Christmas ritual. Start with your own idea in the create-your-own flow; the wording, illustrations, and layout of your book will differ.

Can I use my child’s photo and their own name?

Yes. You provide the name and a photo to inspire their illustrated character. Review the character and your book before ordering; illustrated likeness is an interpretation, not an exact copy of a photo. Learn more about using family photos.

Can I make this as a grandparent?

Yes. You can create a Christmas book for your grandchild and include yourself in the cast. Think of something you already do together, like hanging the first ornament, setting the table, or looking for the brightest star.

What if I’ve made a book before?

The free complete preview is for your first eligible book. If you’ve already created a book or used that preview, you’ll need the $7.99 digital unlock for an additional book before its full story and illustrations are generated.

Do I need to buy a printed book?

No. The digital storybook is $7.99. If you choose a hardcover later, the print upgrade is $32.00. You can review the book before printing.

This year, their little tradition gets a story.
